Sexual sins are not only a waste of time and energy, but also separates you from God.
Galatians 6:8... Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
1 Peter 2: 11...
Dearly beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from
fleshly lusts which wars against the soul.
With dating, as boy and girlfriend, there are limits to physical touching.
Sexual relationship and anything partaining to it, is for the benefit of the
lawful partners.
As long as you are not married, her body is not yours, and yours
is not hers. So indeed, you cannot possess each other as in a marriage
That means, you have to keep your hands off each other's body.
Keep it to a "cool" kiss and perhaps holding hands. If you have
allowed yourselves to be taken by your passions, then both of you have
been living in sin. Even if you didn't have a sexual relationship, at least
your actions were a BIG part of. It is not worth to ruin your relationship with the Lord. Jesus should be first in your life and you would never want to lose out on Him.
When you are together, pray and study the scriptures together,
and really prepair yourself to please the Lord. Dedicate your bodies
to the Lord instead to each other. If you conquer the flesh now it will
be easier to overcome in the future. Life is a lesson and time is your
teacher, use it wisely. Avoid being alone, invite other Christian
friends to join you in your activities.
You also need the infilling of the Holy Spirit, Who gives you the power
to overcome. Life may be a challenge, but with Christ you can grow
strong.
At some point in your life you will look back and it will provide you
strenght.
Philippians 4:13. I can do ALL things through Christ, Who strengthens me!
I am advising you that you get a reliable Christian to whom you are
accountable and who will help you to be faithful to the Lord in this.
Once you've control over your passions, both of you will just
be laughing and running hand in hand - praising His Name, while
you have the Victory.
James 1: 14, 15...
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn of his own lust, and
enticed.
Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it
is full-grown, brings forth death.
Romans 6: 12...
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey
it in the lusts thereof.
All and/or any sin can be overcome, if you really want to.
Be encouraged. All THINGS are possible to them that believe.
You have to start focusing on what the Lord wants from you.
Completely surrender ALL to Him, obey His Word in water baptism and
infilling of the Holy Spirit. Walk in His ways.
If you lack power to overcome, He will give it to you through the
Holy Spirit.
With every game there are rules to abide. In the real world we
have to follow the law, regulations etc. in order to succeed or keep
us out of trouble.
The same is with Christianity, not that we are under bondage
again....no.....but still the Lord wants us to dedicate our lives to
Him and shun sin.
We may stumble now and then, but living in sin is different and makes
us again a sinner.
Satan is always trying to disturb the peace, he is a murderer, robber
and killer from the beginning. His target is God's children of course.
1 Corinthians 7: 5... so that satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control..
Proverbs 25:28... Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.
You can be VICTORS and OVERCOMERS with Christ Jesus.
Fight the good fight. Don't let this filthy devil rule your life, he
will drag you right into hell if you let him to.
2 Peter 1: 4...
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that
by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped
the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Prayer is very necessary, but so is work.
"Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".
This shows you that we don't get it effortless.
Get right into the scriptures, go to bed with it, wake up with it, get
saturated by it. When temptation comes you can be strong and speak
out in the Name of Jesus that you are MORE than conquerer with
Jesus Christ.
NEVER give up... just keep going. With His goal in sight, you'll
overcome in His Might!
Romans 13:14...
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh,
to fulfill the lusts thereof.
Titus 2: 11, 12...
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and wordly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
The Lord is waiting for you with outstretched hands. Come to Jesus
Christ,
He will forgive you and deliver you. You only have to ask.
Proverbs 3:5-6 ...In all your ways acknowledge Him and He SHALL direct your paths.
Psalm 50:15...Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me..
Walk in His ways and be a light in the darkness.
Let the scriptures saturate your soul, may His Word bring healing
to the land.
Go down on your knees and pray as David prayed.
Psalm 51: 10-12...
Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit
from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous
Spirit.
He sees the longing of your soul and He will give you the desire of your
heart. He Who promised is faithful.
Philippians 4:8... Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things.
